Welcome to a house of medieval origin which used to be part of the old gate of the original fortification wall systém. The gate was demolished in the year 1844  so that clean air could enter the old town. In the renaissance era much constraction was taking place and the present appearence is a product of that time the facade the vaulted ceilings, the sgraffiti,…..



The first honour person to live in the house was Smith Barta in the 15th century, after him many more people of various profession lived in the house, among them butcher Hoppel and Stefl (scribe Klastersky, Baker Mayer, verger Koygel).

All these people and many more imprinted their lines into the walls of this house which can be felt upon heavy step.
